MindAge Hosts Successful Talk on Cognitive Impairment Awareness at Crossway Baptist Church

On August 9th, 2024 (Friday), the MindAge team successfully conducted a talk on “Promotion of Awareness for Cognitive Impairment” at Crossway Baptist Church. The event attracted over 45 participants, all of whom showed great interest in the topic. During the session, MindAge’s gerontological social worker and occupational therapist delivered an engaging and interactive presentation. The discussion covered key areas such as the identification and warning signs of dementia, an overview of the different types of dementia, symptoms across various stages, and available treatment methods. To conclude the talk, participants underwent a screening test aimed at raising awareness and promoting early detection and intervention.
